About Ashton Entertainment
Ashton Entertainment is a circus and performing arts company born from the family of the world-renowned Ashton Circus.
Ashton Entertainment was founded by a 5th generation Ashton, Jan Ashton-Rodriguez and her husband, internationally acclaimed (former) Spanish Circus star, Brasil (Serifin) Sanchez-Rodriguez. This is their extension of the family circus tradition they were born and bred into. Their current show, Circus Circus, is inspired by Jan and Brazil’s desire to continue the family traditions they were born and bred into.
They, together with their daughters – Chantel and Tamara – and grandson, Remi, have travelled Australia for many years. The Ashton Circus Family is the oldest Circus family in Australia. We are proud of our history, and excited to carry this great legacy into the future.
The circus is an environment where many generations of people from all different backgrounds and all over the world can come together with the shared goal of creating a unique experience for the audience. Ashton Entertainment provides a platform associated with spectacular circus performances combined with the principles that have fostered circus throughout history.
